Victory for Valentin and Renata Lusin at the DTV ranking competition in Cologne

Only four weeks before the German Championship S Standard will take place in Nuremberg on the 7th of November, 17 couples were using the ranking competition in Cologne as last test. Three last years finalists of the German Championship were taking part. With 34 first places Valentin and Renata Lusin were very convincing in this top-ranking field. The decision about the 2nd place though was much more exciting. With three 2nd places in the waltz, the Viennese waltz and the slow foxtrot Daniel Radu/Anne Weber were given the silver medal. The bronze medal went to Anatoliy Novoselov/Tasja Schulz, who became 2nd in the tango and the quickstep. Niklas Patt/Caterina Schaefer finished 4th, Linus Holm Foged/Alina Mißfeldt 5th. Fabian Wendt/Anne Steinmann, winner of the Rising Stars ranking competition that had been taken place the day before, could qualify for the final as well and finished 6th.
