World Championship Senior II Standard

"Here are our World Champions! Michael and Beate Lindner have mastered the marathon of the IDSF Senior II Open Standard with flying colours!", German sports director Michael Eichert reported live from the Palais de Con-gress in Liège (Belgium). 167 couples started early at 9 am in the morning, with the German delegation repre-sented most strongly with 72 couples.
The Lindners took the lead in the huge field with five victorious dances. The two of them joined the Senior II cate-gory only this year. Last year's finalists Claus and Britta Halfmeier had to make do with rank 9 in the semi finals.
