World Championship Senior II Latin: bronze medal for Bröker/Schantora

Georg Bröker/Susanne Schantora reached the third place (out of 88 couples) at the World Championship, which was held during the Mallorca Dancesport Challenge 2012 in Calvià.
Three more DTV-couples reached the semi final (which consisted of 14 couples): Ullrich and Carmen Sommer (8.), Eugen Gal/Heike Glaubitz (11.) and Andreas Krause/Karin Saleina (12.).

On the following day, 40 couples from 15 nations (among them semi finalists from the World Championship) participated in another open Senior II Latin tournament.
Anja and Harald Dormann (TTC Erlangen) won their first World Ranking Tournament and were moved to tears when the German national anthem was played. Andreas Krause/Karin Saleina (Gelb-Schwarz-Casino München) won the bronze medal.
Couples in the semi final: Uwe Möller/Elke Stoltze (7./8., TSC Astoria Karlsruhe) and Volker Dietrich/Sonja Bockmann-Dietrich (12., TSC Ingelheim).
