World Championships Freestyle Latin

Both German couples reached the final round of the World Championships Freestyle Latin in Beijing, China. Sergey & Viktoria Tatarenko and Nikita Bazev/Marta Arndt reached the 5th and 6th places. German federal sports director Michael Eichert reported via SMS: "Our couples danced their feet off!"
As a surprise, the Russian couple Polianskiy/Akhmetgareeva won the tournament with a story about "The Joker" (Batman), leaving the world's top Latin couples behind with an advance of 0.05 points.
