Day 1:
In the IDSF Open Senior II Standard tournament, Heinz-Josef and Aurelia Bickers, the reigning runners-up to the World Champions, managed to dance to the top of the field. Günther and Antje Nagel (12.) and Jens and Maike Wolff (13.) reached the semi final.
Andreas Hoffmann/Isabell Krüger were the only German couple to reach the final of the Senior I Latin tournament. They took the fifth place, although the German delegation had expected them further up. The World Champions from France, Gwenael Lavigne/Stephanie Godet, won the tournament; Michael and Claudia Sawang (7.) and Julian and Brigitte Heubeck (8.) reached the semi final.
More than 100 couples took part in the Rising Stars Latin tournament. Three German couples reached the quarter final: 13. Ilie Bardahan/Anastasia Bodnar, 20./21. Dumitru Doga/Sarah Ertmer, 24. Andreas Cibis/Victoria Kleinfelder.
In the AOC Junior I/II Ten Dance tournament, Vadim Lehmann/Marie Vakhnina took the second place. Roman Schumichin/Marija Maksina reached the 12th place in the semi final.

Day 2:
The World Championship Adult Ten Dance was without doubt the highlight of the day. Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva representing Germany were in top form; all the greater was the disappointment among the German fans when they were not called up for the final. 36 couples participated in the tournament.

Ferdinando Iannaccone/Yulia Musikhina celebrated their second place in the IDSF Open Latin tournament. Two German couples, Sergey Tatarenko/Viktoria Tatarenko (7.) and Nikita Bazev/Marta Arndt (11.), reached the semi final. Gennady Bondarenko/Ilona Cutenco (17./18.) reached the quarter final. 159 couples participated in total.
66 couples took part in the IDSF Open Senior I Standard tournament. Tassilo and Sabine Lax confirmed the result from the World Championship and finished as runners-up to the Italian World Champions Stefano Bernardini/Stefania Martellini. Thorsten Strauss/Sabine Jacob (9.) reached the semi final.
Vadim Lehmann/Marie Vakhnina delighted the spectators once more, this time in the Junior II Standard section, and reached the semi final (11.-12. out of 61 couples).

Day 3:
One week before the World Championship in Wetzlar, Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler (TSC Astoria Stuttgart) once more dominated the field and won the IDSF International Open Standard tournament (151 couples in total). All 13 adjudicators gave them top scores. Two more results worth mentioning:

17.-18. Steffen Zoglauer/Sandra Koperski (Blau-Silber TSC Berlin)
