Many representatives of the German dancesport have been successful in competitions already on Friday and Saturday all over Europe. Many representatives of the German dancesport have been successful in competitions already on Friday and Saturday all over Europe. In the International Open Latin competition in Bucharest (Romania) Cseke Zsolt Sandor/Malika Dzumaeva finished with the 3rd place. In the semi-final of this competition consisting of 59 couples Arthur Ankerstein/Georgiana Barbu occupied the 14th place.

74 couples were dancing in the World Open Latin competition in Ankara (Turkey). Marek Bures/Anastasia Iermolenko Khadjeh-Nouri just misses the rostrum and finished 4th, Evgeny Vinokurov/Christina Luft ranked 8th. In the Rising Stars competition Berkay Cihan/Jelena Koelbe finished 10th. Valentin and Renata Lusin ranked 5th in the final of the World Open Standard competition.

Who better liked Italy had the chance to dance in Pescara. In the International Open Latin competition there Daniel Kasper/Anastasia Schepel finished 7th, Vinzenz Dörlitz/Albena Daskalova 8th. Both couples took part in the "under 18" competition as well. In this competition Dörlitz/Daskalova ranked 3rd, Kasper/Schepel 5th. In the competition Youth Latin Kasper/Schepel finished 2nd, Dörlitz/Daskalova ranked 6th in the Rising Star competition. In the standard section Stephan Klein/Giulia Carlotta Frison were taking part. The couple won the Rising Stars competition and finished 6th in the International Open competition. In the Senior II Standard competition Horst and Patricia Beckmann reached the 10th place.

The seniors in addition had the possibility to dance in Platja d' Aro (Spain). In the Senior II competition Peter Birndorfer/Christina Pothfelder finished 11th, Gerhard Baier/Ingrid Cloos-Baier 12th in the semi-final. Also in the semi-final of the Senior III competition German couples the DTV was represented by Marius Torka/Barbara Torka (8th place), Gerhard Baier/Ingrid Cloos-Baier (10th place) and Olaf Paul/Christi Renna-Paul (12th place). In the final of the Senior IV competition Klaus and Petra Engel finished with the 4th place.

In the Dutch Equality Championship in Almere (Netherlands) two titles went to Germany. Caroline Privou/Petra Zimmermann won the standard women competition. In the latin men competition Peter Dietrich/Ingo Jungblut were standing on top of the rostrum.

In distant China, more precisely in Nanjing, Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol also were successful: They won the WDSF World Superstar Standard competition there.
