Tassilo & Sabine Lax reach 2nd place in Blackpool

Eight couples reached the final round of the Senior I Standard tournament in Blackpool. 199 couples took part. The world champions Tassilo & Sabine Lax had to defer to the third of the world championships Marcello Daga/Marina Pau and finished 2nd. The German vice champions Jörg & Ute Hillenbrand reached the final of the British Open for the first time and were very happy when their names were called for the final round. They were ranked 7th.
