Blaues Band Berlin: World Champions win

The current World Champions of the Seniors I Standard, Tassilo and Sabine Lax (TSC Excelsior Dresden), are the winners of the WDSF competition. Although Sabine Lax got hurt during the tournament, the married couple beat 104 couples and ranked in first place. They were followed by Zdenek Pribyl/Lenka Pribylova from the Czech Republic, who were able to win the Quickstep. The Germans Dr. Markus Lilli/Manuela Wichmann climbed the third step of the rostrum. The other places in the final were also reached by German couples: Bernd and Sandra Ketturkat became fourth, Thorsten Strauss/Sabine Jacob ranked in fith place and Marco Wittkowski/Petra Fischer reached the sixth place.
