75 couples took part in the world ranking tournament Standard in Bratislava (Slovakia). Paul Lorenz/Ekaterina Leonova reached the final and the 5th place. "By this result, we are among the top 20 of the world ranking list for the first time," Paul Lorenz reported excitedly. In the semi final, Dima Doga/Sarah Ertmer reached the 10th place.

Additionally, Lorenz/Leonova competed in the Viennese Waltz competition, which had five rounds, and won it. Markus Ziebegk/Jenny Müller were also in the final.
