World Championship Standard Professionals

Absolutely outstanding the Italians Mirko Gozzoli / Alessia Betti defended their World Champion title of Professionals Standard. 41 couples entered the competition at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn (Germany). The German representatives Sascha and Natascha Karabey were fifth in the final. Stanislaw Massold / Christine Deck, the second german couple, who changed recently from amateur to professional, finished with an excellent seventh place.

The German Professional Association (DPV) honored DTV coach Oliver Wessel-Therhorn in the context of this event for his honor with the golden needle of the DPV.
