European Championship Latin: 6th place for Balan/Bezzubova

73 couples from 39 nations participated in the European Championship Latin at the Costa Dorada in Cambrils, Spain. The German couples, Marius-Andrei Balan/Nina Bezzubova as well as Sergey and Viktoria Tatarenko, qualified without re-dance and reached the semi final (14 couples) without effort. Sergey and Viktoria were ranked on the split eleventh place, Marius and Nina reached the final. The German delegation, led by our DTV-president Franz Allert and federal coach Horst Beer shared Marius and Nina's joy at reaching the final and the sixth place. The contest for the vacant title was particularly thrilling: Langella/Moshenska from Italy placed themselves before the Russians Zaytsev/Kuzminskaya. Zanibellato/Abildtrup from Denmark won the bronze medal.
