Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler had danced very well, but their offenders Emanuel Valeri/Tania Kehlet (Denmark) had been good as well. Anyway, the German supporters did not think that is was possible for Ferruggia/Köhler to lose the title, Eichert continued. The Danish champions are the new World Champions Standard.

Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol, German vice champions, defended their 3rd place of 2010. 71 couples from 39 nations started. More than 2,000 visitors watched the competition.
