After the World Championship in Wetzlar, Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler also won the Grand Slam final Standard in Shanghai, meaning that they have won every tournament in which they participated in 2010. In front of 1500 spectators, they dominated the field of the twelve world class couples in the Luwan Arena in Shanghai.
After a tight decision, Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol, runners-up to the German Champions, managed to take the third place.
For the first time, the final was carried out in five solo dances according to the new IDSF judging system. After each couple, the overall score of all adjudicators was openly displayed to the audience.

1. Bennedetto Ferruggia/ Claudia Köhler, Germany - 237.29 points
2. Emanuel Valeri/Tanja Kehlet, Denmark - 233.71 points
3. Simone Segatori/ Annette Sudol, Germany - 220.14 points
4. Sergey Konovaltsev/Olga Konovaltsva, Russia - 219.79 points
5. Dmitry Zharkov/Olga Kulikova, Russia - 208.57 points
6. Marco Cavallaro/Joanne Clifton, Italy - 202.36 points

10. Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva (runners-up to the semi final)

The only German couple qualified for the Grand Slam final Latin were Sergey and Viktoria Tatarenko, who lacked only three crosses to reach the semi final and took the tenth place.
