Zirm/Schwarz 5th at the World Championship

"We have a top result!" the DTV senior commissioner announced happily at the World Championship Senior I Standard in Rimini, when the composition of the final was published: one DTV couple in the final, one couple in the semi-final. Two finalists from last year were not in the last round - defeated by German couples that even had not taken part in the last years championship. Andreas Lippk/Karin Eva Rode were very satisfied with their split 9th place. "It was big fun!" Thorsten Zirm/Sonja Schwarz danced their best round in the final and therefore were rewarded with the 5th place. Christian and Elena Bodo won their first world champion title. The quadruple world champions Stefano Bernardini/Stefania Martellini finished 2nd.
