German Federation with a New President
Standing Ovations for Franz Allert Lasted Several Minutes
The conference of the German federation was marked by personnel changes. With lots words of praise, personal gifts and standing ovations that lasted several minutes the delegates bid farewell to Franz Allert.
Vice president Rudolf Meindl had also announced he would not stand for re-election and Boris Exeler's successor Sandra Bähr had already been elected at the last youth convention and therefore only needed to be confirmed.
At the suggestion of the new president, Franz Allert was appointed Honorary President, which was followed by long applause.
