179 couples participated in the Senior II Standard tournament, including the current World Champions, the runners-up to the World Champions, and the German Champions. The adjudicators confirmed the international result from the World Championship: Aurelia and Heinz-Josef Bickers received the winners' medal, followed by Carlo Wilmer Righero/Manuela Traversi from Italy and the current German Champions Beate and Michael Lindner.
