"Tilburg Moves" is a large-scale event in the Netherlands including many IDSF tournaments. Of course, due to the geographical proximity many German couples took the chance to participate.

"Tilburg Moves" is a large-scale event in the Netherlands including many IDSF tournaments. Of course, due to the geographical proximity many German couples took the chance to participate.

Day 1:
Georg Bröker/Susanne Schantora as well as Robert and Silvia Soencksen dominated the Senior II Latin tournament, finishing first and second (see picture).

Georg Bröker/Susanne Schantora also participated in the Senior I section, winning for the second time in one day. Markus and Stephanie Grebe took the fourth place.

The Senior III Standard tournament was the biggest of the day (56 couples). Franz-Josef and Lioba Kirchhoff won the bronze medal, Hans-Arnold and Heidi Büscher reached the fifth place. Half of the semi final consisted of German couples. Apart from the two finalists, these were:
Wolfgang Walter/Ilse von Beyer (8.), Wilfried and Anette Seidel (9.), Jörg and Beate Monse (10.) as well as Hans-Wolfgang and Angelika Scheuer (12.).

Day 2:
Thorsten Strauß/Sabine Jacob managed to reach the second place in the Senior I Standard tournament. Two other German couples danced in the final as well: Jürgen Beck/Claudia Kleineheismann (4.) and Klaus Padberg/Dunja Jansen (5.).
Two DTV-couples narrowly missed the final, sharing the seventh place as runners-up: Bernd and Sandra Ketturkat as well as Sönke and Solveig Schakat.

At the Senior II Standard tournament, Heinz-Josef and Aurelia Bickers left the dance floor as clear winners. 65 couples participated in total. Michael Feld/Heide Glaser were the second German couple to reach the final and finished sixth.
Hans-Arnold and Heidi Büscher (10.) as well as Hansjörg and Birgit Hopp (11.) reached the semi final.

At the Rising Stars Open Latin, Vadim Lehmann/Mariya Vakhnina reached the semi final and finished eleventh as best German couple.

The World Champions Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler dominated the field as usual and won the International Open tournament in superior style. Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva reached the final as well and finished sixth.

Day 3:
On the third and last day of "Tilburg Moves", two German couples reached the semi final of the IDSF International Open Latin tournament: Simon Völbel/Regina Murtasina finished eighth, Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva took the ninth place (out of 78 couples).
Pavel Zvychaynyy/Sarah-Sophie Ritz reached the split sixteenth place.
