Grand Slam victory for Ferruggia and Köhler

The highlight of the Grand Slam Standard series was the final tournament, which was held in the Shanghai Luwan Sport Center at the second day of the tournament weekend.
Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler (TSC Astoria Stuttgart) presented themselves in top form and won the tournament with a clear points lead. Thus they impressively confirmed the results from the World Championship in Melbourne, beating Valeri and Kehlet into second place again.
Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol (TSC Astoria Stuttgart) took the third place and Anton Skuratov/Alena Uehlin (TTC München) had qualified as third German couple for the Grand Slam Final, eventually finishing eleventh.
